The event, hosted by Oss\u00fcr, was a great opportunity to share the advances made on each \u00e1rea of expertise to promote the development and uptake of interactive robotics, while ensuring a responsable research and innovation paradigm in the field.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.eu\/setting-the-roadmap-for-a-consensus-on-a-responsible-research-innovation-for-the-development-uptake-of-interactive-robotics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Keep Reading<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #20709d;\">An acceleration program for the robotic industry<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>One of the objectives of INBOTS is\u00a0<strong>to\u00a0reinforce and promote the development of new strong companies working on robotics in Europe<\/strong>, for this reason we collaborate with RobotUnion, who is developing acceleration programs and contributing with funding and mentoring to stimulate SMEs in the robotics sector. <a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327445\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">RobotUnion<\/a> will invest \u20ac4 million in 40 companies during 2 open calls from 2018 to 2020. The white papers will be dealing with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS MARKET ANALYSES &amp; SUPPORT FOR SMEs<\/li>\n<li>INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS LEGAL, ETHICS &amp; SOCIOECONOMIC ASPECTS<\/li>\n<li>INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS EDUCATION PROGRAMS &amp; LEARNING ACTIVITIES<\/li>\n<li>INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS STANDARDIZATION &amp; BENCHMARKING STRATEGIES<\/li>\n<li>INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS REGULATORY FRAMEWORK &amp; RISK MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK<\/li>\n<li>INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS PUBLIC AWARENESS AND ACCEPTANCE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">WP1: Promote entrepreneurship and non-technical support to SMEs<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The team working on this challenge have already collect some interviews of entrepreneurs to gather their experience founding their successful companies in order to determine the\u00a0<strong>success points<\/strong>\u00a0and help others.<\/p>\n<p>Also has been created a\u00a0<strong>data base<\/strong>\u00a0of wearable robotics and humanoids companies with relevant information for future benchmarking, and they have already started classifying them according to sectorial and geographical criteria.<\/p>\n<p>To outreach the analysis made, there is available a s survey to share knowledge and expertise\u00a0surpassing non-technological barriers\u00a0in the development of the different robotic solutions in real-life applications.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327448\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">ACCESS the survey<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">WP2: Promote debate on legal, ethics &amp; socio-economic aspects<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The team working on the promotion of a debate on legal, ethics &amp; socio-economic aspects have been hardly working to attend and coordinate debate among diverse typologies of stakeholders affected by these issues.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327449\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">INBOTS participates in the &#8220;Science and Innovation Week&#8221;<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327450\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">INBOTS at the International Tax Cooperation Congress 2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">WP3: Promote highly-accessible and multidisciplinary education programs<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The INBOTS team\u00a0working in the promotion of highly-accesible and multidisciplinary education programs is working on the identification of good practices on the different education levels to better educate on robotics. There is a serial of surveys to identify these best practices (Survey on Robotics in education), some of tehm<br \/>\nshared during the INBOTS Conference hold in Pisa.<\/p>\n<p>They are also training needs and initiatives that are going on in the companies which are being investigated and the data analysis is in progress.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, they have contributed in workshops and host another to reach the objectives settle in the project:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327451\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">INBOTS Workshop with teachers on the Uptake of Robotics in Education<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327452\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">INBOTS shares experiences in the education on robotics<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">WP4: Coordinate standardization and benchmarking<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The INBOTS team working \u00a0on coordinate the standardization and benchmarking on interactive robotics is evaluating the conducted standards research made and is working on the identification of standardization needs at the same time that merges the idea of proposing the European Commission a certification of technology.<\/p>\n<p>There is also available a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327453\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">survey to hear the experts on standardization of Interactive Robotics<\/a>\u00a0to gain knowledge of the robotics communities requirements in terms of standardization and the regulatory framework.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">WP5: Propose a regulatory &amp; risk management framework<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The INBOTS team working\u00a0 on proposing a regulatory &amp; risk management framework have been working on studies for the European Commission on &#8220;Safety of non-embedded software advanced robotics and AI&#8221; and for the JURI Committee of the European Parliament on Civil Liability for Drones&#8221;, among others.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">WP6: Promote societal and socio-economic uptake of robotics<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The INBOTS team working on promoting societal and socio-economic uptake of robotics have already identified best practices to reach its objectives and have delivered the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/inbots.acblnk.com\/url\/ver\/31327454\/677455\/pHZDRBZCsFscjI5LQey8nsX\">first documentary video<\/a>.
