{"id":13,"date":"2017-10-17T10:25:56","date_gmt":"2017-10-17T10:25:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eurobench2020.eu\/?page_id=13"},"modified":"2023-06-13T10:43:10","modified_gmt":"2023-06-13T08:43:10","slug":"the-consortium","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/the-consortium\/","title":{"rendered":"The Consortium"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"line-height: 2;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1175\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/grupo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"870\" height=\"451\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The EUROBENCH Consortium includes ten parters with the key experience necessary for the successful achievement of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/abstract\/objectives\/\">project&#8217;s objectives<\/a>.<\/strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;In particular, the Consortium has been working for the last years on the definition of a comparative evaluation shceme for biped robotic systems, in response to the direct needs identifies by the Strategic Research Agenda <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/abstract\/motivation-background\/\">(Background) <\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">, a job that received special attention from EU representatives. <\/span><\/span><a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">[1] ]<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> and was recognized by the MAR <\/span><\/span><a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">[2]<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> as one of the most promising standardization and benchmarking efforts in Europe.<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The EUROBENCH parters are:&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The CSIC<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> (National Research Council of Spain) is a world reference in the development and exploitation of portable robotic technology, and the main promoter of benchmarking intiative in recent years. They will be coordinating all activities from project 1 (WP1). Also, will lead the reference framework for portable robots (WP4)<\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">, and will host, manage and maintain related facilities. CSIC was the coordinator of the <\/span><\/span><u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">H2R<\/span><\/span><\/u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> y<\/span><\/span><u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> Biomot<\/span><\/span><\/u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> projects.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.neuralrehabilitation.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-54\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/ic.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"74\" height=\"96\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cajal.csic.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-53\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/ic-csic.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"229\" height=\"77\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">IIT<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> (Fondazione Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia) is an international leader in reseach and development of humanoid robotics. It will coordinate (along with CSIC) the configuration of the two test facilities, house and maintain the Humanoid Facility (WP5), and will be a key partner in benchmarking activities for humanoids (WP3)<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">. IIT was the coordinator of the<\/span><\/span><u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&nbsp;Walk-man<\/span><\/span><\/u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> FP7 project.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iit.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-79 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IIT-v4-logo-t2_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IIT-v4-logo-t2_2.png 1000w, https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IIT-v4-logo-t2_2-300x128.png 300w, https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IIT-v4-logo-t2_2-768x328.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The University of Heidelberg<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> has been the coordinator of the <u>Koroibot<\/u> project, focused on evaluating human-like abilities in humanoid robots, and has been a promoter of the benchmarking locomotion group. They will lead the development of the reference framework for humanoid robots (WP3).&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-heidelberg.de\/index_e.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-80 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/logo_neu_heildelberg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Roessingh Research and Development<\/u><\/strong> is the largest scientific research center in the Netherlands that focuses on rehabilitation technology. It will collect and provide data of both impaired and non-impaired walking that will serve as human-like reference datasets (WP3, WP4).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rrd.nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-81 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/RRD-logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/RRD-logo.png 303w, https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/RRD-logo-300x154.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 303px) 100vw, 303px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>TECNALIA<\/u><\/strong> is a leading entity in transferring research into products. It is the coordinator of the <u>BALANCE<\/u> Project and COST action on wearable robotics. It will lead the Benchmarking Software development (WP6) and adapt the algorithms for their integration in the software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tecnalia.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-82 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/EUROBENCH\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/logo-tecnalia_nuevo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"290\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><strong><u>OSSUR<\/u><\/strong> <\/b>is a leading company in prosthetics development and commercialization, with pluri-annual experience in exploiting research results from EU projects.
