These days the leaders of the ethical, legal and social (ELS) Working Group of the COST<\/a> Action 16116 on Wearable Robots Dr. Heike Felzmann from NUI Galway (Ireland), Ms. Alexandra Kapeller from Link\u00f6ping University (Sweden), Dr. Ann-Marie Hughes from the University of Southampton (United Kingdom) and Dr. Eduard Fosch-Villaronga from Leiden University (the Netherlands) are visiting the University Complutense of Madrid. The visiting research period aims to establish synergies between them and the H2020 INBOTS Projct.<\/p>\n

The COST Action 16116 conducts research on Wearable Robots on the Augmentation, Assistance or Substitution of Human Motor Functions. In concrete, the CA16116 ELS WG aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of ELS issues in Wearable Robotics, identifying relevant values and ethical, philosophical, legal and social concerns related to the design, deployment and practical use of wearable robots.<\/p>\n

This project is supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) and the framework programme Horizon 2020<\/p>\n
