{"id":1576,"date":"2019-10-10T09:42:43","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T07:42:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/inbots.eu\/?p=1576"},"modified":"2022-03-14T12:00:58","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T10:00:58","slug":"the-social-robots-of-the-future-are-in-sweden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/INBOTS\/the-social-robots-of-the-future-are-in-sweden\/","title":{"rendered":"The social robots of the future are in Sweden"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>INBOTS is part of the development of a Swedish exhibition that invites the public to reflect on the <strong>social robots of the future<\/strong>.<\/h6>\n<p>The exhibition &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arbetetsmuseum.se\/utstallning\/hej-robot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hello Robot<\/a>&#8221; opened on October 5, 2019 at the<em> Work Museum in Norrk\u00f6ping<\/em> and wants to <strong>explain the context of social robots and raise concerns about their role in society<\/strong>. The interaction with robots seems to be here to stay &#8211; at home, in the city and in the workplaces.<\/p>\n<p><em>What role do we want social robots to play in the society of the future?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the exhibition, the visitor encounters the social robot<a href=\"https:\/\/www.furhatrobotics.com\/furhat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Furhat<\/a>, which was developed at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kth.se\/en\/forskning\/omraden\/kemi-bioteknologi-och-halsa-1.787800\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Royal Institute of Technology, KTH<\/a>, in Sweden.
