{"id":3379,"date":"2020-05-01T13:26:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-01T11:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/inbots.eu\/?p=3379"},"modified":"2022-03-14T11:49:40","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T09:49:40","slug":"the-first-benchmarking-framework-for-robotics-is-closer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/INBOTS\/the-first-benchmarking-framework-for-robotics-is-closer\/","title":{"rendered":"The first benchmarking framework for robotics is closer"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p style=\"font-size:21px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/eurobench2020.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"EUROBENCH  (opens in a new tab)\">EUROBENCH <\/a>project is progressing in the development of the first benchmarking framework for bipedal robotics in europe, and soon, they will be ready to receive the first testers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>EUROBENCH is an EU funded project that started in 2018 with the aim of creating a benchmarking framework where two facilities (one in Italy and another one in Spain) and a unified software would allow developers of  <strong>exoskeletons,\u00a0prostheses, humanoid robots,<\/strong>\u00a0and other types of overground robots, test their technologies at the EUROBENCH facilities or from their own laboratory using the unified software.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide\" style=\"grid-template-columns:60% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"598\" src=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/INBOTS\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Eurobench-2-1024x598.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/INBOTS\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Eurobench-2-1024x598.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/INBOTS\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Eurobench-2-300x175.jpg 300w, https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/INBOTS\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Eurobench-2-768x449.jpg 768w, https:\/\/neuralrehabilitation.org\/projects\/INBOTS\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Eurobench-2.jpg 1157w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\r\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"> This framework is being built by <a href=\"http:\/\/eurobench2020.eu\/developing-the-framework\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"17 teams that were selected during a public Open Call (opens in a new tab)\">17 teams that were selected during a public Open Call<\/a> in which more than 50 proposals were submitted. These teams are building the testbeds and developed the software needed to record the performing capacities of the different technologies.
