M\u00aa Yolanda S\u00e1nchez-Ur\u00e1n Aza\u00f1a<\/strong>, Professor of Labour Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM)<\/em>, participated as a speaker in the Conference on “Risks inherent to the Digitalisation of Work<\/strong>“, organised by the\u00a0Counselling of Employment of the Regional Government of Castilla y Le\u00f3n and the University of Le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Yolanda is member of the INBOTS project participating in the Work Package 2, promoting the debate on legal, ethics and socio-economic aspects<\/strong>. In particular, Professor S\u00e1nchez-Ur\u00e1n is working in the aspects related with labour law, considering all the impacts of the introduction of Interactive Robotics in the production line and analysing the implications concerning the new roles adopted by the human work force.<\/p>\n

In this case, the UCM lecturer gave a lecture on “Implications of robotics in safety at work<\/strong>“, in which she set out the challenges that labour law must face in terms of safety and health in collaborative work between human-robots. \u00a0In particular, it was oriented towards the necessary prevention of new psychosocial risks, the re-adaptation and retraining of workers and the reformulation of working time under the principle of “robotic disconnection<\/em>“; a work that must be done in the first stage to ensure a responsible conversion to a new production model.<\/p>\n
