Key dissemination and cooperation actions
The consortium highlights the following summary of dissemination and cooperation actions that have taken place during the reporting period:
1.
Joint Workshop on Wearable Robotics and Assistive Devices The 2016 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2016) will be held in Daejeon, Korea, October 9-14, 2016.
2. Cooperation with the following European Projects has been continued or/and initiated: Symbitron, Balance, HYPER, H2R, Koroibot.
3. A new CSA on Wearable Robots has been proposed to the EC in 2015 but finally not funded – was first on reserve list.
4. A Topic Group on Wearable Robots in the context of EURobotics has been proposed and accepted. Two members of the consortium are part of this iniative. |

5. Project Coordinator Dr. Juan C. Moreno is founding co-chair in the accepted Technical Committee on
Wearable Robotics of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (created on May 21, 2016).
6. European projects H2R, Balance, Koroibot, Walk-man and Biomot are contributing a joint action to involve the scientific community to identify the most relevant factors that should be included in the ideal benchmarking scheme for bipedal walking. This joint action is entitled benchmarking bipedal locomotion and the following related actions are highlighted:

b. After almost two years of intense debating in international forums, in collaboration with the European projects H2R, Balance, Koroibot and Walk-man, the first version of the benchmarking scheme has been published (See Annex in Deliverable D7.2.). BioMot actively contributes to activities in this cooperation action
c. The workshop "Benchmarking lower limb wearable robots: towards practical and evidence-based solutions.", has been held on August 11, afternoon, at the ICORR 2015 conference, in Singapore.
7. The BioMot Project has required exchange/co-location of personnel (Italy, Spain, Japan, Belgium). Length of individual stays from 1 week to 6 months (6 months stay in CSIC from Mr. Marco Bassa from UNIPD).
