These days the leaders of the ethical, legal and social (ELS) Working Group of the COST Action 16116 on Wearable Robots Dr. Heike Felzmann from NUI Galway (Ireland), Ms. Alexandra Kapeller from Linköping University (Sweden), Dr. Ann-Marie Hughes from the University of Southampton (United Kingdom) and Dr. Eduard Fosch-Villaronga from Leiden University (the Netherlands) are visiting the University Complutense of Madrid. The visiting research period aims to establish synergies between them and the H2020 INBOTS Projct.

The COST Action 16116 conducts research on Wearable Robots on the Augmentation, Assistance or Substitution of Human Motor Functions. In concrete, the CA16116 ELS WG aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of ELS issues in Wearable Robotics, identifying relevant values and ethical, philosophical, legal and social concerns related to the design, deployment and practical use of wearable robots.

This project is supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) and the framework programme Horizon 2020
