The Professors Yolanda Sánchez-Urán and María Amparo Grau presented the paper  “THE IMPACT OF ROBOTICS, ESPECIALLY INCLUSIVE ROBOTICS, ON THE WORKPLACE: LABOUR LAW AND FISCAL ASPECTS” in the International Conference “Technological innovation and the future of work: emerging aspects worldwide” held in the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, during the days 5th and 6th April 2018.

This document is based on the consideration of the risks and opportunities created by the latest developments in advanced robotics, the authors reflect on the social dimension of this phenomenon and, based on ethics, they analyse some legal aspects. In particular, and taking into account the effects of robotics on the labor market, sustainable legal solutions are proposed and progress is made in the principle of socially and legally responsible robotic innovation, in the field of labor relations and in the adoption of tax and fiscal measures applicable in relation to robots.
